A tasty cup of tea so warm
While raindrops tap the windowpane
The train rolls on through in its charm
And whistles softly through the rain
The steam curls up like clouds of white
The countryside goes rushing by
The sun peeks through, the sky turns bright
As birds take wing and bridges fly
A sip of tea, a moment’s peace
The gentle rhythm of the track
The world outside will never cease
While memories come drifting back
Through towns and valleys, near and far
Past sleepy hills and skies of blue
My tea and I, just where we are
With every mile, an inner view
And when the journey meets its end
The cup is empty, hope is new
So, tea on trains will always blend
With lot of magic in the brew
